Wow, it's been awhile. Well I'm sick right now or I'd blog about a year of blog posts I could have made and didn't, but I was just lazily browsing my bookmarks between coughs and sneezes and found this place. Maybe I'll update it more often.
Over the hill of brown is a red dawn,
A fireball glows, and seeps blood,
Drip, and drip again, it wont run dry,
It's cold, there is no warmth in it.
There's a tree in a yard, it's alone,
It's twilight, and the bark glows,
Eeerie grey, scares it's friends away,
It's cold, there is no warmth in it.
Beneath the sea there's a peak,
It rises bodly, permeating flat,
It's archaic, wise and stern,
It's cold, there is no warmth in it.
There's a twinkle nigh that sky,
Burning with fury in its spot,
Night after night it shimmers,
It's cold, there is no warmth in it.
There's a word on that page,
Its meaning is elderly, it's tested,
Its true, studied, they call it just,
It's cold, there is no warmth in it.
That book there, in your hand,
You read, what do you grasp,
Just what you intend to find,
It's cold, there is no warmth in it.
Over the hill of brown is a red dawn,
A fireball glows, and seeps blood,
Drip, and drip again, it wont run dry,
It's cold, there is no life in it.
At
the end of the book I die.
I don't want to write it, not another
word.
I want to sit in the wind and laugh
I want to be in this
place and feel.
The actions I take write for me
I can't stop
it, but I'd try.
Even a legacy immortal, I can't enjoy
For
eternities beyond infinity I lie
My elements touch ends of
galaxies
Just as before they became mine
They forgot me long
before light ended.
The existence now vast, empty, and cold
Our
material particles spread too thin
Worlds ended long before the
atom
Gravity is irrelevant and defeated
The laws of nature lose
their canvas
While there is nothing to view the empty place.
No
one knows I existed in space
A sad future, but there is no time
No
account of when, what, why
The mind had it's time, long passed
The
universe doesn't exist without inhabitants
The book ended without
The End
And I didn't exist in it.
A breeze lifter her veil
Her eyes and smile bright
Not a flaw in sight
Cheerful her speech flowed
Blessing all who crossed her road
There's a girl I'm glad to know
In this I hope it shows

On the front there was a paradise which had no name
However it was welcome just the same
The place had a beach and an ocean with waves
By a tree there was a chair but no one there
Deserted the place would stay for many days
I’d go if only I knew where
At last I found it, yes
Beyond a door after the hall
The way was quite a mess
But I heard the paradise call
The paradise was near me and yet far
How I could get there I couldn’t think
Not by a train, not by a car
But through my mind I found my bed and fell asleep
Shortly later I was hearing waves
In a chair under the warming sun
There I stayed for many days
And there I had my fun
At last the paradise must go
And to a ringing sound I rose
I awoke to a blanket of snow
But I return to the beach every time I doze

Hey it's been quite awhile since I've posted. Well school has been going good, just finished up midterms and I think I survived..
So Final Fantasy XII comes out this week, however I don't have the time or money to play it. I wish I did its sure to be an amazing game. All of the reviews I've read make it out to be all I expected and more. Well I'll get to play it someday.
I'm listening to the new Ziggy Marley song right now, "Love is My Religion" and its amazing. I just recently discovered Ziggy and I love his stuff, he's just as good as his father was. I think I like his instrumentals better than most of Bob's actually.
I still haven't beaten Oblivion and I don't think I'll ever have time to. My website has been as dry as this blog and it really sucks but I don't know what to do.
Still listening to TWiT (This Week in Tech) and loving it. Leo is the shibby!
Well I'll be sure to report back sooner next time. Seeya!
What magazines do you subscribe to, and why?
At the moment the only magazine I subscribe to is Electronic Gaming Monthly. It's interesting to read and also fun and informative. Magazines I buy regularly are Game Informer, Play, and any music magazine that has bands I like in it (for example I picked up 'Death + Taxes' because it had Saves the Day on the cover and it had some interesting articles).
What is your favorite cover song?
Question submitted by Ray.
Well at the moment I guess it would be Tiesto's cover of 'He's a Pirate' from Pirates of the Carribean. One of my older favorites is Metallica's cover of 'Here I am'. In that case I do think Metallica's version is better.
It's been amazingly hot out for the last few days. A lot of people have complained about it but I think it's nice. I like to be outside in the mornings after work and feel the warmth while working up a sweat running around and such, and then returning inside to wipe my face with a damp cloth in the air conditioning. The only real problem for me is that during the hottest days last week my air conditioner locked up a few times while I was sleeping which would then wake me up and I'd have to turn it off for a bit. I would then wake up fifteen minutes later covered in sweat to turn it back on. It wasn't too bad though and like I said I enjoy the nice weather.
I've decided to start working on my 'book' again. Basically I had an idea awhile back to write a guide to my favorite online game (Tibia), but instead of being like any other FAQ I want to include short stories and interviews with players between the sections or chapters. Today I kind of came up with a temporary name for it: 'Tibia: How to, lore, advice and more'. Not very creative or catchy, but it's just sort of a code name.
I want to give a little pimpage to the website GigaVox. I heard about GigaVox Media through the latest TWiT and I dropped by and it's a really nice website. There you can find a lot of audio from conferences and other podcast-like media from the channels IT Conversations, Open Source Conversations and The Podcast Academy. I downloaded Steve Wozniak presentation (part 1) from GnomeDex by IT Conversations. I haven't listened to it yet but I think it should be interesting.
My webpage has been kind of slow lately, but I'm working on getting something up shortly. There should be something new up by Sunday morning at the latest so if you would drop by and give it a look. Thanks!
Lastly, I would like to welcome Yeshuu to Vox. I invited him and he should be here soon. When he arrives I'll link to his Vox page here, so check him out.
That's all for now.

What a blast!!
It was amazing. At first I was starting to have regrets. As soon as I got off the interstate I rammed right into some hardcore traffic. As far as I could see was filled with cars in both lanes... It was hard getting onto the road from the off ramp, I'm a very cautious driver and was waiting for someone to wave me in. I guess that's not how the world works...All the cars behind me just passed me and drove up on the shoulder and cut in front of people...
Eventually a guy did let me in line...A lot of good that did...LOL We all had to merge left about 150 feet down the road...We were maybe 1.2 miles from the park and I waited in inching traffic for an hour!!
Finally I got to the park, still inching along, and got shuttled through four parking lots until I finally got a space..... It was insane!!! We didn't get the best seats, but they weren't bad. The hill we were on used to be a ski slope so it kind of fell off in stages, and we were about midway up...It was built like theatre seats you could say.... There were tons of people there...
After about an hour wait (passed by buying and playing a crap mobile phone game, The Sims 2...BIG waste of $10!!) the show started as cars were STILL inching in...lol
It started with the 20th Century Fox thinger, kind of cool and then it went into..um...I forget..lol but after that was some Pirates of the Caribbean (one movement or whatever was really dang awesome, I recorded a bit on my phone), then some Mission Impossible, Harry Potter, Sound of Music, 2001: A Space Oddyssey and some other things.... Beuaty and the Beast (really cool), and finally the part I was waiting for, Star Wars!!!
It was sweet. The Star Wars theme always gives me chills and this was no exception. The accompanying fireworks show for the finale was really nice. The fireworks themselves seemed to have a musical beat that you could tap your feet to, and mixed with the epic Star Wars music was very nice.
It was a great time, and I definately want to get to see them again...I'm sure it's probably much more expensive for an indoor show in a theatre or whatever but I definately plan to go...I guess I'll need a suit though :P
The only complaint I have is that this show seemed like a social gathering for many people. I mean it was tons of soccer moms chattering and laughing throughout the music, which was most noticeable during the quiet parts...They weren't even paying attention, they'd start clapping inbetween movements which sucked... I like when songs get really loud and then taper off and start back up...But having to hear stuttered applause each time annoyed me....
Also a lot of the guys around me were sitting around just drinking beers and talking about golf, also seeming as they didn't care...
The trip home was an adventure as well..Haha I wanted to find a WaWa because I never went to one...I got off at two gas station / food exits and couldn't find one...so I got off on the Bel Air exit...I figured Bel Air might have one...I followed the sign pointing toward Bel Air but drove for half an hour with just fields and such surrounding....It was about 45 minutes until I hit a gas station and by then I was back in Pennsylvania.... I don't know if I misread the sign or what...
I wanted some food from WaWa!!!
